cooling a monitor???

i've noticed some people putting up ideas on how to cool a monitor.. but the only answer to "why" was, because it felt hot. hmm, i want to know is there a reason??? I don't leave my monitor on all the time (i hate screen savers). But when i'm on it, i'm on it for a loooong time. yep, komputer dork. Anyway, is it necessary? And i bet the noise would be unbarable! but i duno. Whata ya say?

At $360.00 for my nice 19" monitor, I'd like to make it last as long as possible. If keeping the circuitry running cooler can do that, then I'm there!

You should only cool it very minimum as it needs heat to actually work.

TO cool it you extend the life of it, and to keep dust out of it.
