[Official] OCF Diablo II + LOD servers to join if you got em!

well, with the announcement of D3 coming, i know some of you want to get out or start up your D2 + LOD games and get playing to get into the mood!

Personally i need to re-buy D2+LOD again but maybe some other OCF members already have D2 servers running they could share with us, perhaps we can get some gaming going on hack free, glitch free servers so we can actually play and enjoy the game to get us tied over until d3 comes out....

too bad blizzards online store doesn't take paypal - WTF are they thinking!

Once i get my d2 i will run a server, may not be super fast being in Costa Rica.. but it will be something.

So if you got a server or know of some good ones, let us know, and what name you play under!

Possibly stupid question - why not play on the new ladder - I know a lot of OC'ers have started new characters on the ladder.

Can you even have your own server? I thought there was only lan, open battlenet or closed battlenet.

You can connect directly through an IP but the IP your trying to connect to must have a game playing.

ah okay, thats right, usually start a dummy server with a player standing there doing nothing the whole time.


what is the max players on a server? can it be upped or hacked?

I used to hav a charactor on the Europe server a few months back, but since being inactive, its probably been deleted

Its funny, how pirating works EVERYTHING. For example, since D3 was announced... goto TPB/ games/pc and sort by seeds (for educational purposes only) and you will see that D2 + LOD is ranked #1.

Guaranteed its all the kids that never even hear of it before, because back in 2000 they were only 9 haha...

I just reinstalled my D2 and LOD
I checked in BNet and indeed my charactor is long gone

Oh well

Ill make another again if you want to make a OCF server :)

Open or Closed BNet or TCP IP I dont mind :)
