seems you got lucky and have a 833EB CPU. At 100mhz FSB it would be a 650mhz cpu.

It does that for my PIII 700 whenever I had it running at default too. Showed its rated speed as 933/133. It runs at 933 but not before 2.1V through it.

Sandra is a crap program in my opinion. Loved the initial release for it but has gone downhill ever since. I just don't think they can keep up with all the new chipsets and hardware that's coming out.

Just ignore the rated speed Sisoft Sandra will do that

I figured that it was a sisoft issue but you never know is there a different way to tell the chip speed from the cpu board not from the plastic half case.

All you need is single click and have your Hard Drive space ready for installation. Clickkkkkkkkk (http://mbm.livewiredev.com/download/MBM5104.EXE)

Go to google.com and search "Download Motherboard Monitor" another good program is WCPUID.

Yodums.

WCPUID might be better. Both proggies will tell you the speed of your processor but the WCPUID will give you more detail. Clickkkkkkkkk (http://cgi2.tky.3web.ne.jp/~nrklv/cgi-bin/softdl.cgi?wcpu30f.exe)

Set your fsb to 133, and see if it fires up.

I would also try CPU-Z...it gives the "original cpu/fsb clocks" of the processor before o/c, meaning that it should correctly determine what chip you have where sandra could not...btw, she told me I have a 600 @ 66fsb...how nice...:eh?: leave it to a woman to belittle every last part of me...

Are friends at intel have a program that will tell you the CORRECT speed. It's sole purpose is it help people detected remarked (overclocked at sold as a faster CPU) chips

ftp://aiedownload.intel.com/df-support/3084/eng/fidenu17.exe

or the web site to mirrors
