View Full Version : Need to input a password for proxy.
I'm trying to get FAH running on my dual 1.7 Xeon at work, but I can't seem to get thru the proxy server. To connect to the internet I have to type in a user AND password. Is there anyway to put a password in the cfg file? I tried letting it use "Internet Explorer" settings but it just sits there "Attempting to get work unit" and never gets any further.
Just wondering if anyone has come across the same thing, any help would be great.:burn:
Do you have any details on what proxy you are using? Anyone have an answer?
This has come up before in the past, although I don't know the answer and I think there were problems with some proxy's.
I really don't know what it is. I just know that its a pain in the @$$ to set up for access to the internet. We have a global WAN, I guess that's what you call it.
I was really just wondering if there was any way to put a password in the cfg file.
I got 2 consoles to run on 1 cpu each, that was the easy part I guess, just can't get any work!
Hmmm, maybe I can sneak a modem in the thing and have it dial in through my back up dial-up account? From what I've read, some people have gotten that to work.
On another note, I should have my gf's 900 Celery (hopefully @1100 or so) put together and running in a week or so, and my ol' PII400 a week or so after that.
Fold ON!!!!!
