Tim,

Reviews here should answer your questions. I'm partial to the HX520, my first modular and I like them.

I agree with RT. The HX520 is a tough, reliable unit. And modular to boot.

You can trust those reviews, The gentleman that runs the website actually works for BFG, So he has no vested interest in Corsair, In fact Corsair is actually competition. Oklahoma Wolf is a longtime member here and is very well respected, He also is not shilling for Corsair, They just run the units through the tests and give us the results, I trust them completely.

If that is the case i have no problem with his results or reviews.

The thing that lead me to that conclusion was that his banner was a corsair only one....

I have one of those... Man that thing is sweet and it's pretty solid... I have never had a problem with it..

Count the number of sigs on this forum with Corsair PSUs and it'll tell you just how good they are :)

Gotta pay the bills somehow. There used to be a SevenTeam banner on the left but their contract ended. :D

FYI: The Corsair reviews came first... THEN the advertisement.

While on the subject of your site, and on a PSU topic, seen any X3 1000w since your review? Have they cleaned up the soldering on the modular PCB?

The same could have been said about Ballistix 6 months ago ;)

We were sponsored by Seventeam too. Didn't stop me from raking their 1200W units over the coals, though. My integrity has never been for sale... as soon as I make that mistake, there goes my credibility too.

If you look at my sig, I'm running one of the Silverstones I was also a bit hard on. It's not there because it's a good unit... it's there so I can keep an eye on it long term.
