What would be the best route to take in cooling my 1 gig of ddr ram. i know memory gets pretty hot, so I need to cool it down

What ram do you have and what speed are you running it at? What about the Vdimm? The only time you reallly NEED cooling, is if you pump up the Vdimm in order to achieve better OCing results. Cooling won't really help you obtain higher speeds, but it will make it more stable at high speeds.

i dunno if you wanna do this...but if you have any low profile heatsinks from an old video card ram chips...stick those on there, and if you are really smooth, then cut a hole in the side of the case right above the ram dimms....and blow some cool air over them....just an idea
