I just got home from work and all of a sudden I'm getting almost constant alerts from Avast! that one of my folding work units for the CPU client is infected with a worm/virus called "Nutcracker". Anyone else run into this lately? Probably safe to just ignore it? I'm thinking it's just a false positive but I wanted to make sure with the experts!

I think there was a report awhile ago about that. I would check the folder to make sure there are no "extra" files. If it looks good, add that folder to the "ignore" list.

the file that was coming up as infected is wudata_07.chk. doesn't really seem to be out of place to me.
Avast is known to give false positives on files in the Work dir.
