I recently setup a new rig with the GA-EP35-DS3R motherboard, I have two Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB setup in a RAID0 configuration. During boot I have to wait 30 seconds whilst the ports on the southbridge controller are checked for AHCI devices, however I dont intend to use AHCI so is their anyway to disable this checking process?

The onboard SATA controller is set to IDE (for my old DVD-RW drives) and the Intel ICH9R Southbridge is set to RAID :sn:

EDIT: Im using the F2 bios version
