View Full Version : I found this humorous (wrong drivers).

So, I installed my HD4850 while rather tired, and didn't realize till the day after (just now) that I had installed the HD3850 drivers...

Everything worked perfectly fine, except my 3dmark06 score was a bit low:
SM 2.0 4230
SM 3.0 4737

Going to go ahead and install the CORRECT drivers now and repost my score... D: lol

SM 3.0 5284

You meant older drivers right? Drivers aren't exclusive to video cards. Newer drivers support old cards and new cards.

Well, if I did that I would really hope someone would drag me out back and have me shot. :)

I have actually been building computers for a long time and doing minor OCing. Actually worked for a comp repair group before it went to crap (Geek Squad).
