I recently bought a board but... everything was right besides the nm support on it. I had to return it because my CPU is a 45 nm.

Now before I go out and buy another new mobo, I need to know for sure if this motherboard will work WITH my RAM and my current CPU.

I will buy this motherboard...

I currently have THIS CPU and RAM.

: : Will that motherboard work with that CPU and RAM? : :

Thanks in advance!

yes, needs a bios flash as others have mentioned - well it will work out of box I believe, but you should flash the bios to the latest as that board has been out for quite some time.

Any particular reason you're going with this board?

you will need BIOS version F7f to run a 45nm...

You are thinking of the GA-P35-DS3L. The board he is getting is the energy saver version. Bios f4 supports the e7200. It came out 3 months ago, so you will probably get it out of the box.

I have the same board (minus the energy saver thing) and it works great. Good overclocking options and it can easily do 500fsb. You probably wont need more than 450fsb with than 9.5 multi. Good board for the price.

Yup. You MAY have to flash the BIOS though.

You mean update the BIOS? To the latest version?

my guess would be hes going for the price....

And yes, its true, my newly bought one got fried not too long ago and now I cant afford to spend much money, this is temporary.

Back to Flash The BIOs, is there some way I can learn how to do that for when it comes? I've never done such thing.

Yes, update the BIOS. As for flashing, I am too lazy:eek:. Got a floppy?
