A case window works. :p

You can also use programs such as SiSoft Sandra (http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html?dir=dload&location=sware_dl_3264&langx=en&a=) and Everest (http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?ps=UE&lang=en) to read detailed information about your motherboard, processor, chipset, BIOS, etc.

I use "SIW" Topala Software.
Pretty comprehensive for free software.

I suggest downloading CPU-Z, and using the mainboard tab.

Google is your friend on not looking silly. Simply put, its a window for your case.

oh sorry I don't have a case window. I didn't know what it was because I didn't know a computer could look like that.

What kind of PC is that? That looks like it gets great airflow. You really did a good job hiding the wires, mobo, HDDs, PSU and everything. AMAZING!!
