Can you all help me. I'm getting a koolance case (my first time with water cooling) and i'm either getting the 1600+, 1700+, 1800+, or 1900+. Which of these would i be able to overclock to most? I know it depends on each chip, but lets say on average. I really want to know what would give me the best Overclocking performance/cost ratio. Any tips would be great! Thanks.

p.s. Lets say i can OC each of them exactly 200mhz... then i'd probably go with the 1900... but if i can OC the 1600+ to say a 2000+ and the 1700+ to like a 2100+ and the 1800+ to a 2100 again, and the 1900 to 2200+, then the best would probably be the 1600... that's what i'm looking for.

Can you post what results they've been having? You think the results are better with the 1600 than say the 1700 or 1800?

Go to the home page, look at the column at the top. Go under "CPU Database" and look up each processor. It'll give you a ballpark figure as to which mobo/cpu combos are OCable. I'd agree with Funnyperson, the 1600+ has had good results from what I've seen.

Please don't double post. This really clutters up the forums.

Thank you :)

I just took a look and it seems like the athlon 1800+ has gotten some pretty tight results.... am i blind, is the 1600+ still doing better for OC'ing than the 1800? I'm buying the processor in a week, so i'm really stuck on which to buy...
