Just bought a Wii

I haven't bought a console since the n64/playstation days even then I didn't really play them i was a pc addict.

Well I got the money went out yesterday and decided to get a Wii (was going to get a 360). Console is awesome right now all i have is the Wii Sports and what came with the console. Still so much fun it's nice to get off my bum and actually stand up and play a game. I somewhat felt like i was back in my arcade days lol.

So just curious any games anyone suggest?
I thought about picking up that other wii mini games that comes with a wii mote friday, and picking up super smash bros brawl.

Also didn't read to much of the paper work with it. Does the wii have built in wifi? Or do i have to buy a adaptor?
What is the card reader for? Do i have to have a card?

Well, in my experience:
The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 game was lots of fun.
Call of Duty 3 was also fun, but not anything like COD4 I hear.
Brawl is great for parties, but don't expect anything from the online play.
Zelda was amazing, hands down the best looking game (on component cables).
Mario Galaxy was really captivating but didn't offer much story. Just a snazzier Mario64.

Yes the wii does have wireless. Which Mario Kart Wii works with.

Mario kart wiii and Zelda Twilight princess are two must haves imo.

I have Brawl... was really disappointed with it. I havent played it since the first month. I love Mario Kart, I also really like (even though its stupid) Links Crossbow. I have Pistol attachments instead of the wierd riffle thing that comes with it.

If you like old arcade definately grabe Umbrella Chronicals. COD also has a rail mode (the mode that is used in the arcades).

If more relaxed I like MySims... or Paper Mario is pretty fun as well. Wasn't a huge fan of Galaxies but thats probably just me. Elebits is also kinda interesting

Wii has Wireless, but don't expect anything out of online play.

Hmmmm seems to be a lot of good games. I just try to mainly buy games that have online multiplayer (cause i tend to play them for a very long time) or games that are super good that my son and I will play for a long time.

Plus he's a big kirby fan lol so that's why i'm going for smash bros cause i liked the other two plus it's got wifi, and a lot of the characters my son likes. Plus for the most part anyone can pick it up and play it.


But I checked out no more heroes video's online that looks good at least for a rental.

Hmmm maybe i'll get gamefly. Might be a good idea. Then if there is a game i really really like i can buy it from them and the used pricing isn't to bad actually decent amount of stuff i see cheaper then gamestop.

Grab yourself a classic controller and also a Wavebird, too, and a Wii points card, and go nuts remembering your childhood with the Virtual Console.

yeah i seen they have donkey kong country 2 one of my favorite games of all time. Plus i'm a huge SNK/Neo Geo fan (Sold my neo geo about 4 years ago)i see there either releasing it on wiiware or whatever its called. Also see metal slug with all of them on it and i see a snk collection vol.1 is about to hit lol can't wait.

Usually broke every week from bills but think i might try getting it online tonight check some of the features out. Go throw few things in layaway at kmart lol so in a few weeks i'll be playing some smash bros and some classics.

Rented Trauma Center last night and Indiana jones legos for my son.

Trauma center was cool lol.
Indiana jones was actually pretty hard to hard for my son, but still good game.
My buddy brought me in mario galaxy today.

Thx for all the suggestions, this thing rocks lol now just gotta start buying all the other stuff extra remote and some games.
