These are 5-5-5-15 at 800-1000. Just wondering if there is something better at the same speeds?

Thanks

Well, sure, there are better sticks out there. You will pay a huge premium or they won't be the 2x2 kits.

You didn't specify what you needed/wanted. For the price though, they are very nice.

not to be confused with the 5-5-5-18 modules(no idea why they have 2 differing sets of the same model).
they run 1066 5-5-5-15 at stock volts(2.1)and 4-4-4-12@800,2.1v(havent tried for max stable yet).i was never a big believer in elpida ics but these have been a solid replacement for my d9s.

Ok im liking those OCZ's thanks for the tip. They look to be a much better deal for the performance also being 4-4-4-15 at 400fsb instead of 5-5-5-15. If the G.Skills can do 4-4-4-15 then I havent seen someone do it. Also the OCZ comes with a MIR of $30 off. Thanks very much.

4-4-4 800mhz is the same as 5-5-5 1000....

Yea but not 5-5-5-15 at 800mhz which those g.skill are rated at.

Nahh

First off it uses the same ram chips as these..

Secondly, it's more expensive than those and the OCZ chips. The OCZ can oc to 1000 speeds while staying reliable and maintain 5-5-5-15 for the cheapest price.

Yea but not 5-5-5-15 at 800mhz which those g.skill are rated at.Whoops, missed your response.

Please look at the specs compared to the 1000MHz version. You should notice the 800MHz are rated for 1.8v and the 1000MHz are rated for 2.1v. They are the same exact chips ;)

Why would you address me when I already mentioned that both of the ram chips are the same?

Sorry i thought I originally posted both links for both of the PQ's. The 800 and 1000 both being the same just as you said higher voltage on 1 than the other.

The G.Skill 800 is rated at 1.8-1.9v 5-5-5-15 just as well as the 1000 are rated at 5-5-5-15 but, at 2.0-2.1v. Neither are rated for 800 2.1v at 4-4-4-15 like those OCZ's. Perhaps there are some people that have the G.Skill's at 4-4-4-15 but, I was just going off of the rated specs. That's all I was saying.
