i downloaded the coolbits registry hack (the one that allows u to overclock) and installed it. When i opened my properties and went to my settings for clock speeds, i checked the box for allowing overclocking, a window opened telling me i had to restart my computer and to disable any 3rd party tweak utility. seeing that i didnt have any other tweak utility i clicked on the button to restart. when i went back to the clock speeds menu and there was no difference at all and the checkbox for overclocking was still unchecked! i also remembered i used to use a diff tweak utility that worked fine but that was already uninstalled and long gone and when trying to use a 3rd party tweak utility again, i got the same result (checking box and restarting with nothing changing)

What do i do?
i have geforce 2 MX 400 with 3.11.01.24 xp drivers and win98

please help! thx ahead of time!

try using RivaTuner, it doesnt use the drivers, instead it ocs using the bios, also when you restart it doesnt save the settings unless you tell it to....

theres a little box that says something like "Overclock at restart of windows"
