ASUS P5Q Premium.... Overkill?

To me it looks like a waste of money. Four Lan ports, four pcie, I can not even think of a way of using that. 10 usb maybe useable but 6 usb is fine and I prefer having esata out.

If you can use the features, then go for it. I very much doubt you will though.

Thank Thideras, I as well doubt that I could use 4 lan ports or will ever need 10 usb ports. But there was a time when I thought 2 usb was more than enough :)
 
I'm not sure about these 2 boards, but I know the P5K-Premium has higher quality components over the P5K-Deluxe. This is usually not listed in the specs.

I say go for it if your budget allows it and the price difference isn't substantial.
