could anyone give me an idea of how much cooler this (http://dtekcustoms.safeshopper.com/2/33.htm?944) water cooling kit could get my cpu compared to the thermaltake volcano6 cu+ that i use now?

that is a very nice kit, you should be able to get quite close to ambient due to the radiator being a good heatercore and 1/2 inch fittings

It would work very nicely, as the overclocker said. I wish I looked at that before I built my own. I would've considered it.

Make sure you duct the fan 1-2" off the rad or you'll get a lot of noise and poor airflow.
For the price of that you can add 12 more dollars and go for the DangerDen kit.
Its 162.00 + Shipping and it includes the following:
Slocket/FCPGA Water Block/Hold Down/Cold Plate
ICE-71 80W Peltier
Arctic Silver Thermal Compound II
Water Wetter 4oz Bottle
7 Feet of 3/8" Silicon Hose
Eheim 1250 Pump
10 Hose Clamps
1 3/8" T Fitting
Although it only has a 3/8 fittings its still good.
And it will cool it down to 10 degrees probably since there's a peltier included as well not so powerful one as its only 80watts.

I wouldn't put an 80W peltier on an Athlon unless you want to burn it out, not enough power even for an XP.

Depends how you run it, an 80W TEC is only just enough for that cpu, if you're running it off a normal ATX supply it probably won;t be enough, I might consider it off a dedicated 15V supply, but it;s probably not with the effort over straight water.
