I know its been asked before ( i did do a search) but i cant seem to find an answer. I got Final Fantasy from my cousin this Christmas. I watched it on my home system, its great, but i want to capture a screen to put as my desktop. I did watch it one time on my computer with Power DVD, but now it either doesnt read the DVD or gives me a DVD region error, which it didnt before. It reads normal CD's but it doesnt read DVDs. I downloaded DVD Genie to try another region to save me from that "Change it 5 times then your screwed thing" but with no success. If i uninstall PowerDVD, i dont have any software to watch it on. Any idea what it could be?

OK, this will turn out to be an information thread after all. After looking at settings and such, i saw the Hewlett-Packard DLA software was installed on my computer. DLA makes CD-Rs act as if they were hard drives. Apparently they have some bugs to fix, as i clicked on my DVD-ROM drive it showed the media was unformatted, which is impossible for a DVD. So i uninstalled it and my DVD works again, yay! So DLA, in some weird way, affects DVD-ROM drives.
