Future Core 2 Motherboards?

The latest P45 and G45 Eaglelake chipsets came out in June...when are more advancements coming out? I'm going to buy parts for my new gaming computer in Winter to Spring, so are any new chipsets coming out by then?

P45 and X48 are the highest that will come out for the 775 socket I believe.

X58 is the next chipset to come out, but that will be for Nehalem which will be an entirely new socket and architecture.
