Which is faster?? ( SDRAM )

Is 1x 256Mb stick of ram ( SDRAM ) faster/performs better that 2x 128Mb sticks of ram??? Just wondering as I need more ram for other rigs. :cool:

A single stick should be faster 'cause there should be less capacitance compared to 2 slots filled instead of one.

I'll back him up, one stick is better.
but also a SS (single-sided) ram chip is better
than a DD (double-sided) chip.
