xp or t-bird???? responce fast plz!

ok.. heres the deal I have only a limited ammount of money, its either the t-bird 1.4 or the xp 1500 which would you recomend for the best performance? need a responce fast! got to get a processor as tribes 2 ladders are coming up! ahhhhhh lmao!:(

I'd deffinately go with the XP. Make sure your mobo will be happy with it though.

ahhhh...lol no, cant spare the 17 bucks ahhhh! noo sse instructions make no difference as it was said in maximum pc magizene but 1500 or 1.4 tbird... ahhhh!

Most definately the XP. Has SSE, Look aside buffer, etc. Major performance increase with the XP.

XP it is cooler and is faster. the 1600+ rating is how fast a thunderbird would have to be to compare. If you can afford it get the 1600+.

if u look at the amd website on the whitepapers for the xps, its all bull****, they are not much faster than the athlons, the 1.33ghz xp is 2% better than the 1.4 ghz athlon, the 1.4 is 4%1.47 is 6% 1.53 is 8%, all those instructions last time i checked wont be used in software for at least 6 months, then u'll see the diff, they add another 3% on, why do u think the 1500 xp is cheaper than the 1.4 ghz, its not a pricing policy!
