good raid block size

I was wondering what block size I should use when creating a raid? (I'm using 64k right now... is this a good size?) What size is best?

I've found 64K to be the best all around. I would stick with that or go with 32K at the least. EIther would probably give you the same performance.

I have to agree. I run my raid at 64k and that seems to be the best size. If you make it to big you will loose the advantages of stripeing.
