Asus Striker 2 780i and Q9450 problem

I have just done a new build with the Striker 2 780i and Intel 9450.

I have a problem where it will post and get into the BIOS but then after anythign between 5 and 10 key strokes it freezes and i have to clear the CMOS and reboot before it does the same thing again.

I have manged to up the voltage on the RAM which i read might help but just after i manage to do that it freezes again and i have to reboot and the settings are back to default.

Also I am worried about trying to flash the BIOS as if it freezes while doing that i will certainly be screwed

Anybody have any idea why and what i might do to solve the issue??

Do you have heatsink mounted properly?

Try using one memory stick at a time.
