What's the normal procedure to obtain a replacement from Intel for a defective CPU under warranty?
I have a defective PIII 850MHz. I called Intel and they acknowledged that it's defective must be replaced under warranty (less than two months old, boxed CPU with 3 year warranty). They told me that I'll receive an E-mail in the next 24 hours containing a RMA number and instructions about how to send my processor to their depot. I called later twice and first time discovered that they recorded an incorrect E-mail address, second time they told me they are behind schedule.. It's one week now and I didn't receive any message from them.
There is no E-mail address where I can write to them about my "case" (they gave me a case number when I called first time). What should I do? (guess I'll have to call for the 4th time, then 5th and so on..) BTW I'm in Canada.
Thanks.
