hey all i finally am folding @home an i got 5wu withing 40 minutes is this good with a p4 1.5ghz?

Sounds good here. Different proteins will complete in different times. Some take longer than others but they are worth more too. Welcome to the Team! :)

Actually you are 5/100 done with your first WU. When the first one is complete the program will send it to stanford then you will be able to see yourself in the stats in 3-6 hours usually. Sometimes it can take longer so just be patient. Fold on!!!

thanx but this thing is causing me problems i think because it just gets stuck and i have to close then reload or just wait why does it do that ?

If you are using the graphic/screensaver version turn off the screensaver. if you would describe the problems you are having we should be able to help you figure it out.

It could be a few things. First. Kendan is right about the screensaver. It's not the best part of the client and can cause trouble. On with the rest of the message. The core_65 is the most obvious place to start. Shut down the client and delete then core_65 and then restart the client. It will download a new core_65.exe. That may or may not do it as the problem could be elsewhere, but it's probably worth a try. Unless you are just generally having problems with your system, in which case we can try to help with that too.
