Just got a 3850 512mb need help overclocking

I previously had a 3870 that I had to flash to get past overdrives clock limiters and it looks like the same lock is on this card as well. However this card doesnt have a reference pcb so I dont know if a bios flash would work.

The card that I have is a diamond 3850 ruby 512mb. Basically I was wondering if flashing this card would work

BTW ccc maxes out at 720/880 which it easily does

that was the max CCC would OC it too...I had to use Riva Tuner to OC the HD3850 past what CCC would allow it...just remember to turn CCC when using RT or CCC while revert the OC back to 720/880 when at full load...

And I wouldnt req. flashing it...If I remember correctly...it had hard lock ups past 765 core...but that might of changed since I added the AS5 and lapped the heatsink...

I have a lapped s1 on it now so that should help it too. Ill post back what i get from riva tuner I havent used that program since the 6800 pipeline unlock :)
