IE 6 and Win XP

Anyone have problems with IE 6 and windows XP, where IE 6 will slow down a ton, and not respond at all after a while? I was wondering if some app install might do this you guys have heard of. This is my mothers computer, and I do not know what all she installs :)

Mine didn't do that when I ran XP.

Close down everything and run IE and see if it does that.

Seems like alot of her ram is being eaten or something by another program.

Either that or your connection is tanking out for some reason.

I have a cable modem hooked into a linux gateway, so it is always on. I will try to close down everything and see if that helps or not.
