P5Q-E Performs... 500fsb Quadcore

Howdy, I recently made a switch from a Maximus Formula SE which was flashed to Rampage, to a P5Q-E. I'm running a Q6700 with VID 1.2875 which previously I could do 400 x 10 for 4ghz on the formula but could not attain 500 fsb on a quad. Well I decided to put this new board to the test and here are the results...

500 fsb 1:1 1000mhz DDR2 - 4ghz

500fsb 12:10 1200mhz DDR2 - 4ghz

and finally 500 x 7 with PL8 1200mhz DDR2

Here's the BIOS settings which I originally got it to boot with, of course now I've tweaked it for 4ghz and PL8 on the memory.

Very nicely done Prime81:beer: The power and control of the P45 boards really comes to life with quads. What impresses me most is the intuitive nature of the OC features in the Bios, as most will know hitting 500FSB on a 65nm quad or any quad for that matter takes some serious tweaking.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to get it prime stable at 500 fsb, gonna wait till ambients cool down to do this. I remember my Maximus board would do 500 fsb on a dualie all day long prime stable, but I could never get 500 fsb to boot on any quad with that board no matter what settings.
