It will probably be at best buy, since the 4800 series are there, but it will cost more. And I think you'll have to select store pickup or else best buy will say they don't have it :P

Just came home from a trip in the states, including NYC. At Bestbuy at 44th street (Or something like that.) they hade some 4850 cards for $200, at J&R and Comp USA I didnīt see any cards at all. Also was out to Long Island and some shopping district, dinīt see any cards anywhere but I didnīt get to go inte a huge Best buy. Also in LA I went into a Best buy and didnīt find any cards at all except some 7300gt or something like that. In San fransisco I didnīt even see any big computer stores. Just to say I wasnīt out on huge shopping trip but I just got married and it could have been interpreted as an act of aggression if I went to much computer store shopping.

Should have flown to Texas and gone to Fry's. :P Or Los Angeles.

I can't think of many big computer stores in NY.

Gotta love our crippled dollar. I have Brit friends who have been doing a weekend flight to NYC for "shopping trips". The British pound is basically double the value of the dollar. Not to mention Brits pay 17.5% VAT (value added tax) on top of everything.

It makes these trips very worthwhile for them.

Theres a microcenter in paterson nj thats about 30 minutes outside of NY. I've been there twice and its the best store I've ever been to.

That's what I'm saying. Crazy British people and their round abouts.

Most items ship from NJ to NY if the item is stocked at the Jersey warehouse. I've gotten plenty of stuff shipped from the Cali warehouse, and even orders split between the 3 warehouses because not everything is stocked in each warehouse.

Not too bad, depending on what you buy. If it was a 4870x2 it would be like $20-$30. :D

That's only 10-20 gbp!!

yea why wouldnt they mind? Didn't you order pizza and have it delivered to your hotel room :p But what's the point of buying it in new york if you won't be able to use it? The prices mu drop when you get back home lol.

If you're staying here for a while then you can probably find it for a good price online(once it's out). I believe hotels do accept UPS packages, because I dealt with a customer who was visiting from overseas and ordered some spare parts from the company I worked for.
