Whats the differences between all these brands of the Geforce 3 Ti200. (Canadian Dollars)

- Video Card - 64 meg Nvidia GF3 Ti200 DDR TV MSI = 302
- ASUS V8200T2 Ge Force 3 - Ti200 Pure 64MB DDR = 319
- ABIT nVIDIA GF3 TI200 64Mb DDR Memor, Retail = 288

Now I know the Last 2 dont have tv in but what makes the msi cheaper than the asus? And also what exactly does the tv in out whatever it is do?

Which one is the best?

Or if theres another brand i should get, and also how does the raedon 7500 compare, doing just a little bit of gaming, return to castle wolfenstien, flight sim 2002, quake 3.

Thanks

The asus has hardware monitoring... Asus products are usually really good quality. The ti200's are better than the 7500's... not by much... but better. And yes there are other brands... like Gainward (like mine in sig below), PNY, Visiontek, Hercules, etc... They all have pros and cons... price wise they're all within 20 or so bucks...

Tv out allows you to hook your comp up to your tv instead of your monitor... video in allows you to hook up things like a camcorder and stuff. If you don't play a lot of games then yes the 7500 would be a wise choice... it's also the only card that supports tv out resolution of 1024x768... all others only do 800x600;)

I think it's under 10% diff in speed... not really sure... funnyperson has a thread... I'll bump it if I can find it.

Consider the 7500 almost on par with an Ultra in speed....its not that far behind....but for 70$ more i think its worth the extra performance to get a Ti200.....of course personally id get an OEM 8500.....for about 15-20$ more than a Ti200.....the main advantage that hte 7500 has (to my knowledge its the only card that can do this) is its able to put out 1024 to a TV, its not worth it unless you have an HDTV however....most TVs only display at 640x480 which most video cards can do nowadays...

nope the oems are clocked at lower frequencies like 250/250 as opposed to 275/275......but are still far better than Ti200s, and on par with the original G3....

you all know I gotta jump in here ,there are ti200's that have an output of 1024x768 , and mine has the same tv out chip but I am not sure if it will do it ,the ti200 overclock very well ,you should pretty much be able to get default ti500 speeds pretty easily.I have a 3d mark score over 8300 at the moment and I have seen a couple of these cards break 10K ,ATI has better image quality but Nvidia has better driver support and compatibility, any of these cards will play any game you want perfectly though.

I saw a list somewhere for the different tv out modules on gf3 cards and the max res on any of them was 800x600... I'll try and find it somewhere...

Yeah , mine has the same chip ,it supports up to 1024X768 ,here is a review of a ti200 with this output ,I may rob its drivers and see what happens.

Could it be possible that in order to utilize 1024 tv out you need an HDTV? On gainwards website it says it supports upto 800x600 tv out... then under that it says it supports hdtv and blah blah blah...
