I'm looking for a simple TI-83/+ emulator so I can write my programs for math class on my computer and test them. Is there an emulator with a built in editor like the one on TI's software? Well, anything simple would be great if anyone knows of one.

http://www.ticalc.org/ has several emulators, do a search there for them. I myself have only tried the 92 emulator, and it works fine for me... not sure about the 83/83+ version though.
Yes, developing calc software is MUCH easier on a computer because you have an actual keyboard....never quite gotten used to the linear alphabet on the ti.

link didn't work. maybe the site is temporarily down. that would be an AWESOME thing to have. i'd love to be able to do my complex math problems on my pc rather than on the clumsy calculator (in comparison at least).

Just realized that site has all the math programs I need to DL. O well, still fun to write them, and it follows my motto, "it's not cheating if you wrote the program yourself." Refering to using the programs on tests.

ok the site works now but none of the links turn up anything downloadable as far as the emulators go.
