We'll it looks like I cant get my PIII 700 past a 124mhz FSB (ie 870) with my Guillemot Xentor TNT2Ultra 32mg card.

Here's my setup:
1) Abit BE6 (original, not the BE6-II)
2) PIII 700 slot 1 (cC0 stepping w/ Alpha P3125 HS and dual
Thermal take fans (running at 25C idle at 870mhz)
3) 256meg (Crucial PC133 Cas2)
4) Voltage: 1.75 at 870mhz (default is 1.70)

System runs very stable at 124mhz. Temp gets no higher than 27C after playing UT for an hour

I tried to up my fsb to 133 ( with 1.80 volts but it booted to the Windows startup screen and froze up.

Based on the link below I was surprised that my TNT2Ultra would not at least get to Windows.

1) Any Ideas?

2) Do I need a new video card.?.If so, what is a good upgrade for OCing and less than $100?

thanks
Mattlock

you might want to do 1.85 on the voltage... I see lots of people use more than that but this seems to be my cushy spot.

Just tried 1.85 volts and it got about 5 seconds past the previous boot stage and got stuck...Any point in going to 1.90 volts?

I had that board..

Make sure you use 2/3 AGP Bus Divider.

The video card would crap out getting into windows like I had it on 16 color mode.

That's the thing..I am using the 2/3 multiplier....

Any other thoughts....other than getting a new video card?

Try another video card.

I can't think of any other than increasing the core voltage:rolleyes:

I'll have to try another card....1.90 volts didnt get me any further.....

How is the ATI Radeon 7500 for fsb's of 133, 143 or 150?

Any thoughts?
