View Full Version : Does The Display Driver Package Only Require .Net FW

I just bought a used X600 for my brother's INTEL Celeron PC he got with it a GF4 MX440 AGP card but I swear it a light version as it can't do squat. Anyways I bought the X600 for eBay for £6 in used but working condition it arrives tommorrow I am only going to install the display driver not the complete package if it'll except it.

Does it require .Net FW 2.0 to run I think I remember it's only for the full package with CCC.

I believe that is correct. CCC requires .NET but the driver itself shouldn't.

I didn't want to make another thread since its in the same thing but few questions

1) Can I use the latest .Net 3.5 with the latest ATi drivers.

2) Do different versions of .net FW effect performance in anyway would it best to stay with .net 2.0

3) and whats the latest SP for 2.0 I've been to microsoft downloads I think it's SP2 so I shouldnt need SP1.
