new mobo?

I can wait for my GigaByte GA-EX38-DS4 to arrive.. or I can choose an other mobo..

which mobo would you recommend?



I want to use this pc for:

- htpc(going to connect it to my lcdtv samsung le37a656)

- games

- dvds/hd rips etc.. working with that a lot

and which mobo is great for oc-ing?

any board from asus/gigabyte/DFI with x38/x48 will be fine and have plenty of ocing features.

Folks seem to like the p5q-deluxe from asus. I like my dfi's..
What kind of budget are you looking at?

$280.. could be more..

I can run Xfire with a p45 right?
is it true that a p45 will be better for overclocking then a x38/x48?

will be the same unless your going to be doing extreme cooling, such as DICE or LN2.
