Got a OEM ATI 7500 from newegg and I'm unimpressed with ATI drivers, so called superior color, and general crapness that is this OEM card. It's rated at 250 core and god only knows why, 182 ddr mem.It baredly overclocks to 285 core, and 240 memrage although 3drage tweaker says DDR max's at 365::rolleyes::. . Now I wasn't expecting much given that's it's a 100$ card but jesus, what are the retail stock settings? 290/300 something?

I liked the deal with the old RADEON LE's but I'm rather unimpressed with the great overclockability of my 7500. ( I used everything from RADEON tweaker, power strip, and the rage3d tweaker)

I think my next card will be a leadtek NVIDIA or maybe a MATROX if they ever get their crap together and build a 3d gamers card.

Now for all you guys getting all puffed up...Am I unreasonably being sour? Hell YES, I missed the boat, should have waited at dawn for the 99$ Ti200's....:p

Yeah, I am glad that ATI is providing some competition for nvidia, but at the same time I am still furious at them for the problems the Radeon VE had. Bought it thinking it would at least be a step above my v3 3k, but it turned out to be less stable, slower, and have a LOT of annoying software bundled. So, I bought a v5 5500, and was happy with that until i recently acquired a gf2 ti (315/500 at the moment :D ).
*sigh* I just hope ATI overcomes the support/odd abnormal clock speed issues.
