Yes it is PCie 2.0 and it will run quad core. It should handle quad well

Yes, one of the best. Running my E8400 at 4.0 ghz with all setting at auto. Have had it up to 4.2 ghz.

One thing I would recommend, is take a gander over to Asus's website, and view the difference between the different P5Q models. There are about 5 or 6 of them. I had originally had my eyes on the P5Q Deluxe, but after viewing all the features on Asus's website, I realized I'd be perfectly fine with the P5Q-E and could save $50.

Hello I wanted to know if thats a good mother board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131297&Tpk=P5Q+Deluxe or you have anything I should pick from. Someone told me Asus p5Q delux is decent, is this mother board pci e 2.0? and could it run a quad 6600 processor decent?

It is a great board, much better for 45nm quads but like you I am still with 65nm for the moment. It is an absolute must to read this thread if you plan on buying this board and get the new 1102 bios from page 63 post #1569....
