I downloaded the 2K drivers but had to download the general updfate file just to get the correct exe file but it still didn't work ... I was discussing this in a debates thread but it belongs here.

Update the drivers?

I get them from HIghpoint Technologies (www.highpoint-tech.com) and then use the update option within the properties box of each controller listed in Device Manager.

I update the RCM device (if applicable, you may not have an RCM device listed) the same way.

I did that then I told it where to get the update from and none of my files matched to what it was looking for and when I forced them it rejected that option......

Could be the BIOS version of the HPT controller you're using. They have to match.
