Duron 600 O/C'd to 2Gig !:D
Turned it on, and POOF!:eek:
That was the fastest I've seen.

On the Real side, I think it was a chinese rig with Liquid nitrogen cooling. 2+ Ghz.

LOL. Been there done that. Without the POOF, I have had AMD Athlon4 MP 1.2 up to 1.730 (173fsb x 10), with air cooling, 2.25vcore.

I know a guy who overclocked a celeron 500 to 1 ghz :D

I got an XT up to 18mhz once from a base of speed 4.77mhz! Beat that percentage wise!!!!! ;)

WOW, that's 277%!!! of an overclock, lol, but did u feel any difference, and any way how did u do that? did the mobo support OC? was the comp stable (LOL)? the Vcore was set to??

I don't think that this number is beatable, a 1GHz CPU will have to run 2.78GHz to beat that in %...

I changed the crystal to get 18mhz. The only windows that can run on an XT is windows version 1.0, I don't have that so I ran DOS on it. DOS is always stable, its too simple to have problems. It's like asking if a rock is malfunctioning. As for noticing the boost, speed on an XT is only one of many things that makes it suck, the one I oc'd sucked, it just sucked faster.

ive seen close to 2ghz on 3dmark.com.. amd tbirds i believe..
ive gotten 1.61 stable so far.. but im on xp now so its back to testing..
