Do any of you own Digital Tablets? How good are they? very acurate? also, at the end of the pen, is it like a ball point pen? with that little metal Baring? or is it like a felt tip pen? Im lookin at some, Some on ebay, Pablo Graphics Tablet mostly.

I had like a 12" by 9" Wacom tablet back in the day. It was freakin awesome! Lots of fun to use.
The pen had a little cylinder of metal stuck in the point. The metal was rounded and polished smooth so it felt like a ball point to me. It was pretty darn accurate- freehand drawings in Illustrator could come out looking like a scanned pencil drawing, once you get the hang of it.
It's realy weird watching the screen and not you hands and paper as you draw, took me a long while to get the hang of it but that's just me. And every time you shift your screen resolution the thing's sensitivity changes:) at least on mine it did.
They are very cool toys, I wish I had mine back.

awsome. anyone else?
Those are nice! Used a 4 x 5 Wacom at work. I am thinking of getting one for myself now. Takes a bit of getting used but once you do they are very nice to use in drawing programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. I hear you can also use them in CAD and games like Age of Empires and Homeworld with good effect.
I would recommend a 6 x 8 for a minimum sizes.
