ok guys quick question what wattage does a non clocked .

1800 xp give out heard about 89 is this correct

if so a 120 pelt should be ok to push abit more out of this i have unlocked it and only have a zalman 6000cu heatsink and fan

would i need to go water cooled to use the pelt as i did use a pelt 72watt with my old p3 and an alpha air cooled

My XP 1800 runs stock speed at 1.6V. Given that accomplishment, it would be radiating 60W. When you try to overclock this chip, the voltage needed to do so goes up quickly. Mine will hit 1755 Mhz at 1.95V. Given that accomplishment, it would be radiating 95 watts. A 156W TEC would just squeak by cooling this, but forget about using one with any air cooled solution. You need a quality water cooled setup to handle that kind of heat transfer and yield a useful core temperature.

Here Is what I reccomend.

Pump Maxi-Jet 1200 (http://www.marinedepot.com/a_ph_mj.asp?CartId=)

Water Block Dangerden Maze2

Radiator Dangerden Cooling cube or any decent copper core radiator

Reservoir You can use a 4x4x4 electrical junction box avalable at the Home Depto or you can make your pump inline so you dont need a reservoir.
