I have a dell laptop, that supports up to 1GHz,and I am only running at the factory 750. I have tried using CPUFBS and SoftFBS, but they require knowledge of the PLL manufacturer and type. I called the dell reps, but they don't even know what a PLL is. Is there another way to change up the FBS?? Any suggestions would be very helpful

DELL Latitude C600
PIII E Coppermine
BGA/Micro PGA .18mu
FBS 100; CLock 7.5
Chipset 440BX/ZX AGP Revision C-1
DELL MOBO

Hi.....and welcome to the forums. First I suggest you read the
info in beginner guides before you "jump into" o/cing your
laptop. There is a ton of info on the main page here at o/c

It's almost impossible to o\c a laptop....and even if you find the way to do it......just dont !!!!
I am sure you want to enjoy the portable services that offers you
for a long time.....so forget o\c

That is my opinion ( Safe and long living Laptop )
