is an aluminum case really that mush better then an antec full tower w/ 6 chasis fans, thinkin about upgrading, any suggestions?

The only thing they might be good for is looks. The whole "giant heatsink" thing is worthless. Any benefits would be negligible and probably not worth their hefty price tag. Any well designed steel case will reduce heat more than a poorly designed aluminum one

The only REAL reason for getting an Aluminum Case as opposed to steel is to have 6-12 fewer pounds to haul to LAN parties.

yeah Im thinking about getting a small aluminum so I can carry it to lans much easyer
right now my case weighs about 50 pounds so it VERY hard to move even with my handle
That's heavy. Guess you need the exercise if you sit around on the computer lot. I play basketball. :D

Aluminum cases look nice, they are lighter, and I've noticed a slight difference in heat diffusion. Nothing to really make me write home about, but we are overclockers, and I'm all about that one degree ya know. :cool:
