I have a Pentium II running at 450mhz, in my BIOS I have Speed Easy CPU, which says that I can clock to 750mhz, is it safe to do this without installing new fans or anything?

no. You'll never get it that high anyway.

Firstly welcome to the boards, secondly please keep in mind that posts in the proper location will probably get you better results much faster. To answer your question I would never recommend trying to push a CPU hard without very good cooling. You are probably going to want to Purchase something along the lines of an Alpha Heatsink and fan for that to get some really nice overclocks.

I am also going to place your post in Intel CPU's which should have been where it goes, Hope this helps. Another thing you may want to do is read some of the guides on the frontpage, www.overclockers.com and go from there. With a bit of research in the CPU Database you will find out what realistically is an attainable overclock for you and what components you will need to get there, as the Database is all real world results from varying users.

It all depends. Do you have the stock HSF on our a new one? Which model of HSF is it? And any other useful information. :D
