Bit of a problem with connection

Hey everybody,

So the deal is that I've set up a wireless network. Everything worked fine like it should and it still does. The problem is that after I put a password on the router my main PC can connect to the internet but it says that it's not connected.

Could putting the password on router cause this ?

So what is the problem exactly?

When you say "Put a password on the router," are you referring to the web admin password, or the wireless network key?

Most likely you have more than one network connection on your PC, and you only have one connected. You are fine, take a deep breath and move on.

Is that happening over wireless or wired type of connection?
