Hey I went to download the SMP and could not find the one I was looking for. Anyone I got only loaded 1 core. I'm looking for the SMP that will load up all 4 cores on my q6600. Where can this be found?

I dont think it's possible to tell the smp to only use 3 cores.

I dont think it's possible to tell the smp to only use 3 cores. No, but you can probably confine the client to three or less cores through third-party utilities like SMP Seesaw (http://www.mlin.net/SMPSeesaw.shtml).

You will need to have the -smp flag, but if you already do then I suggest to reinstall the client. What OS are you running?

if you installed the smp client it will load all 4 cores on a quad.

I don't know what client you have, but if you delete the fah.exe file, and download the version 5.91 client, and put it in the same place as your fah.exe file used to be in, you will have your SMP client. No flags are needed for smp WU's, with this client.

If you use a shortcut to start it, you will need to change the target line to the new filename of fah-SMP-591, instead of just fah or fah.exe. Then click on the Apply and OK buttons to save that shortcut.

5.91 is the console SMP version, and as Jon posted, it's linked at, from this url.:
