as the question asks, can i put a p3 1.26 in my cusl2 (with a bios update)?

seems it would be the easiest upgrade for me at the moment...

The max your motherboard will take is 1.1 P3 or Celeron.

No, Intel modified the i815 chipset for the tualatin. It is a revamped P3, but it uses a different pin grid array. The ASUS TUSL2 and TUSL2-C are the Asus boards based on this modified chipset. However... certain problems with divder really kinda hamper these boards. If you're looking to go with a Tuallie, I'd recommend the Abit ST6... it's the same modified chipset with better OCing options.
