but blue is more expensive so it *MUST* be cooler.:D

I like the idea of red on the keyboard, for one its different, and cheap, and i cant find small blue led's except online. but red ones are like $.15 each at the shack.

price doesnt make something cooler!!!

and for good red leds its not that cheap!

Cypher720

have you ever heard of the sweet best performing home made watercooling systems?

Tbird man

yeah its called direct die cooling which is quite expensive if you consider manhours put in as well as materals

one of my boxes is done up in blue, so the blue led's look sweet, i have another with yellow led's. that is kinda cool, the other 4 are standard

I AGREE!!

Blue is way overdone and mucho expensivo....

I have reds on every led on my box too (except the monitor), and they were $.15!

I disagree, I filled 5 5 1/2" bays with 4 rows of blue LEDs, put 100 on my side panel, and I modded my monitor to blue, my pwr, hd, kbd, cable modem, nic, floppy, cdrom, mouse, and I even replaced my eyes with blue leds! MWAHAHAHA! Kidding aside, I like my one power led, but thats the only blue one I have :D

I personally prefer White LEDs... but I'm a freek :D

I get all of my LEDs from .AllElectronics.com (http://www.allelectronics.com) and they get really REALLY cheap if you order them in multiples of 10. They also have Bicolor LEDs and Flasher LEDs. 3mm or 5mm sizes available too.

I use blue because it goes better w/ my black case. That, and blue and black are my favourite colours.

For my upcoming case mod, I'll be using a menacing black case/red lighting color scheme.

And now I even have a blue Cold Cathode (but it looks more like aqua-marine to me . . .)

I'd have to just say that blue is my favorite color :)

Don't do it cause its the thing to do, do it cause ya like it.

I've still got the originials on mine, switching has only been a passing thought really...but I suppose on my system if I did I'd go blue...

Ofcourse color scheme has alot to do with it. I've nearly finished my case, its black and sliver in the front (cheated and bought it that way! HA!), with silver painted cd/cdr/floppy, and my own window on the side, plus a blue neon. To me, I'm loving the black/silver/blue thing.

....ofcourse, I screwed my window in rather than using weather strip (figred the shiny silver screws would look cool...they do...) and I managed to crack my plexiglas twice(!) while drilling pilot holes. Its not toooo noticable, but I notice, so I'll probably cut a new plexiglas window...I bought a big sheed for like 7 bucks from home depot, I can probably get about 7 windows outta it!

Ofcourse, I like blue, but I could see black/silver/red just as easy...I hooked my brother up with a red neon tube, and thats probably what we'll do with his case.
