£5 8500 cooler?

There selling these for £5 down here can I use it to cool my 8500?? Ramsinks and so on?

Maybe if you cut an 'inch' of that nob on the bottom off it may work.

I can tell you this, The Thermaltake Low profile IU golden orb is just about the worst IU cooler made. In many IU cooler roundups they won't run an actual CPU with this orb as it just stinks:(

They look good as those Gorbs will push 25cfm or so while the other small fans push like 10-15.

Are you getting the whole heatsink as I suppose they will not sell the fan alone, use the heatsink itself to cut up to make ramsinks if you don't have any.

yeah but, thats not the 1U orb...it looks like the Slot A orb to me...should crush the blorb, and probly the crystal orb...
