I have a athlon 1600 xp...i have a thermalright cb-6l hs...and i have 2 fans...i have a y.s. tech 38 cfm, 47 dba fan...this cools my cpu to 41 idle...which is alright...i also have a Adda fan thats 28 cfm and 37 dba...which cools my cpu to around 45 idle and 50 full...all in celsius btw...which one should i use...??...
Are my temps for the adda fan alright??...cuz i kinda can't stand the y.s. tech fan's noise...its pretty annoying...plz tell me if my adda fan temps are alright...

i also have 2 case fans...one intake one outake...

If your system is running stable, under full load, then the Adda temps are probably O.K. - a little bit high, but as long as your system doesn't experience lock ups, then go ahead with the Adda. I personally would go with the lower temp vs. lower noise - but then again, I have 12 case fans on mine, so a CPU fan isn't going to bother me.

how can you stand the noise...when i play games i have to turn it so loud to hear the sound...then my family goes crazy on me saying the sound is too loud cuz i have a subwoofer...well i'm just gonna run it for a few weeks and just have some fun with my comp without o/c'ing...its already fast enough for what i do...games and net...and some work...hehe...

Thx...

You get use to the noise. After 6 months, I don't even notice it anymore. Of course, the local airport has filed an injuction against me - claiming that the pilots can't hear control tower instructions over the noise eminating from my house :D
