I bought the Audigy Platinum since i have the DTT3500 and thought it would sound the best... especially with watching DVD's... since this card supports true 5.1 etc.

Anyway, i also have a Soltek motherboard i just got and it has the VIA KT266a chipset.

I will also be running Windows XP Pro.

My roommate said they have patches available to fix the Via problems that have been occuring.

Do any of you have the audigy card and the KT266a chipset?
If so, any problems? Thanks in advance.

Your just going to have to get the Via 4in1's since you might experiencing some cracklings as well and stuff...

Wait until you actually have the problems to fix them. :)

I'm running an audigy platnium with a Abit KR7A (266a) with no problems. (in XP)

Truckchase, That's good to hear. I just ordered the KR7A and have an older X-Gamer Live. I hope it works fine.

I have Soltek 75KAV with KT133A chipset. Audigy clicks when any kind of software cooling is active. Register 52 (hex) bit 7 must be 0 to get Audigy out of clicks... if it is set 1 then Audigy clicks like hell.

I have this card one day so... I don't know about other possible problems. Got system stable, sound plays ok, without clicks etc...
